Excellent happy hour every day at the bar from 3-6 pm. Buck a shuck oysters! Bartender was super friendly and nice and the Margaritas were delicately balanced and delicious! The beef sliders were delicious! Convenient parking. You just can't go wrong!
I don't eat seafood often so I tried the new brunch menu. It hasn't caught on yet so the place was empty! The eggs Benedict were disappointing. The eggs were overcooked, the sauce tasted like mayonnaise and there was not much of it. There was a tomato slice on the pile which is OK, but was not mentioned on the menu which I dislike. The potatoes were quite good! Crispy on the outside but still fluffy inside. They were served with a good portion of peppers and onions and were a little bit greasy. Overall, not worth a repeat visit.
We’ve been to Legal Sea Foods in Cranston a few times, and it’s definitely long overdue for a review. We stopped in today for a happy hour treat, and our bartender, John-Martin, truly made the experience special. The margaritas were on point, and his friendly, welcoming attitude stood out. The food was great, the service was excellent, and we’ll definitely be back.
Came here for a quick lunch date. We started with the muscles, which were phenomenal. It came with a piece of toasted garlic bread. For meals, we split a couple things we got the fried fish tacos, the baratta, and the baked haddock “Anna’s way” Everything was cooked perfectly and the service was great. Plenty of parking and in a convenient location with tons of other things to do and shopping.
I recently dined at Legal Sea Foods in Cranston, and overall it was an okay experience. The restaurant is clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere is nice for a casual seafood meal. The service was just okay—they were polite, but a few things were missed along the way, which took away from the experience. Unfortunately, my food was not cooked properly, which was disappointing, especially given the reputation and price point. While the seafood tasted fresh and portions were fair, nothing really stood out or wowed me. It felt more like a reliable, safe choice rather than a memorable dining experience. Overall, it’s a decent option if you’re craving seafood, but between the service missing some marks and my dish not being cooked right, it fell short of earning a higher rating.
