Leiby's Ice Cream House & Restaurant

We stop in when we are in the area. The food is always good. The ice cream is a bonus and a great place to take the kids for a treat. Prices are reasonable, and the dining area is comfortable and air conditioned. The gift shop has unique craft items. You are sure to find something for everyone.

Leiby’s Ice Cream is the best I’ve had in quite a while. We were driving nearby and just decided to go in. I had two scoops of strawberry cheesecake that had awesome flavor and was very creamy. My son had a scoop of Milky Way, a scoop of peanut butter and a scoop of chocolate marshmallow that literally melted in his mouth. They have quite a few one-of-a-kind, custom-made flavors, too.

Everything was delicious. We had a larger table, kids got dog has s great toasted bun, turkey dinner with homemade stuffing had great flavor, although smaller portions, burger was awesome, salad bar was great, slides were cooked perfectly. Friendly staff. A cute and very full, craft gift room. I've creams were wonderful, slightly disappointed with waffle sundae, it was a half thickness compared to regular Belgium waffle and with ice cream that makes it soft quickly. I was nostalgic for their old, full waffle I remembered a a kid.

Very limited menu compared to website. This needs to be updated before people book reservations. Portions are small for the price. For example, this cauliflower appetizer costs $8. Do not recommend this restaurant for anything but ice cream and pie.

We go here quite often with all of our children. Our most recent visit was with our pugs. Bought them each a kids ice cream with whipped cream on top. Worth every penny. We can get ice cream for 8 people, 2 adults and 6 children for under 30$ which is better than just about everywhere else you can think of. Staff is very friendly, and the seating area is always clean. Love this place.
