Lenny & John's Subs

From looking at the outside of this building, I had a feeling their subs would be awesome, classic NJ style subs and guess what.. I was right! Just a simple, sub shop that's churning out beautifully executed, traditional sandwiches that I've loved growing up in this area. It's a sin that I haven't stopped here sooner. The prices are right where they should be, the quality it OUTSTANDING. The meat was sliced perfectly and however they source their bread, whether baked in house or brought in from a bakery - it's perfect sub bread. So happy to call this place my new, preferred sub shop. I just had one of the best chicken cutlet sandwiches ever! Everything from the bun to the toppings was delicious! Reasonably priced as well.

Really friendly service, only five customers allowed at a time for everyone's safety which was appreciated. Got the tuna salad and the jumbo sandwich, meats were great on both. Bread was good, but a little hard to chew. Hot peppers were the yellow kind, think they were pickled.

The bread is absolutely out of this world! PeriodTTT! Customer service is friendly and the staff is, for lack of a better word, on point! Their choices of breads, meats and cheeses is astounding. More importantly the quality in their selection is impressive. So please, I implore you to stop on by L&J's and get yourself a tasty, fresh sandwich!

You can read all the reviews from a 1 to 5 stars. I’ve know personally Lenny & John over 50 years. They started out in the early 70’s & still in business as I’m writing this. So what does that tell you?? Now that Lenny has retired it’s now been running by his family & firmly believe it will continue for generations.
