Have stray cats was told animal control would do last year still no one has showed up. Why or we paying for a service that does not respond

To say that Lenoir County has an animal control is just a lie. They are closed three days before and after a holiday, they do not return calls Monday through Friday during working hours, and god forbid if you find an aggressive animal loose because they are off or on lunch. They really need to revamp Animal control and put people in there that actually want to work. It’s insane they are always closed. Then you’re told by SPCA that’s the only way to have an animal picked up. If I didn’t have to give any stars I would.

Horrible appointment services i was told at first my appointment was one day, then I get papers for the appointment. I call in to see how they wanted the papers done so I was told to bring them in on another day. But wasn't given a time to come in. So I called to find out what time and was told the situation. The lady I spoke to said that they're not letting anyone in due to covid so I asked her what time should I be expecting them to call she said we start at 8 in the morning so anytime between then and the time they close. Then she just hung up on me which is very rude. So those on wic be prepared for a rude representative. I even tried to explain to her that they need to get their stuff together and tell the moms that use their services the right date of appointment.

I am so impressed with the way Lenoir County’s Health dept is handling COVID-19. My husband tested positive and they called both of us multiple times to check in and to ask if we needed financial or food assistance. It is so reassuring to know there are people in our community looking out for us.

Lenoir County Health Department when I was pregnant with my daughter in 2000 she was born. while I was getting prenatal care they hid that my daughter had an intestinal blockage. She was 3 days old belly was getting big the Lenoir County Health Department hid and never told me. after she had her Surgery and then her second Surgery to reverse her colostomy bag she had a stroke and now has autism and mental issues behind her from didn't want to get a lawsuit.
