Leo's Deli

My rating is based on that it is average and did not meet expectations on things beyond the standard LI breakfast of BECSPK. It just didn’t hit that spectacular mark for me in comparison to the MULTITUDE of eateries out there. Might I be back to try their hot foods? There’s a good chance on that as they looked delicious. Would I recommend this place for those looking for a decent breakfast egg sandwich? Yes.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Leo’s Deli in Glen Cove is absolutely phenomenal. From the warm greeting at the door to the incredible hospitality, Leo and his family always make you feel welcome and cared for. On October 2, 2025, Leo graciously hosted the very first Women Veterans Only Listening Forum, and he went above and beyond in providing a phenomenal menu of our choice. We enjoyed a full dish of pork, rice and peas, sweet plantains, jambalaya rice, and other delicious offerings — every guest raved about the food, especially the jambalaya rice and pork. I picked up coffee, breakfast wraps and lunch sandwiches. The counter people were very helpful and the food was excellent. I will go back again.

Literally the only place in NEW YORK who puts steak out at 10:00 am. What lunch special starts at 10:00 am. God forbid you arrive arrive at 1:00 pm ( lunchtime ) && there is NEVER any steak but they increased the price for it! Run don’t walk away from this place !!!!

Almost $20 for a hero, chips and drink which is pricey, then you see this thin made hero. Atleast if prices were comparable to the hero being made with healthy portions, I’d understand the price. But i won’t be back.
