Leo's Kitchen

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Leo's Kitchen, and it was great!! The menu offers a variety of dishes, showcasing great traditional flavors. What truly stood out was the fried rice and choumein. My favorite was the cream cheese wonton.

Best Chinese food in the area, hands down. We've been faithful customers of Leo's for at least 13 years now, and they have maintained their standards for food quality, cleanliness, and customer service throughout the years. They have great lunch and dinner specials and give you very generous portions. They make their dumplings (the wonton soup ones and the potstickers) in house from scratch. Definitely try their pork potstickers - they are nothing like the pre-made, frozen and reheated ones you get in every other Chinese restaurant. No, Leo's potstickers are made in-house. They are big and plump, full of delicious stuffing of ground pork and vegetables, soft and chewy on one side and perfectly crispy on the other. Ordered take-out, so gave "neutral" 3 stars for service and atmosphere. Spend your food dollars elsewhere. Leo's used to be very good but now bottom of the barrel serving gloppy, sugar with soy sauce dishes. The crispy eggplant was just big sticky balls of fried dough (try to find the thinly sliced eggplant in it!). The Kung pao chicken had the same soy, sugary, sticky sauce; no red chili peppers, no bell peppers, no celery. Worst of all was the chicken meat itself; tasted like it had been in a freezer for months. Yucky! There both dishes in the garbage; a shamful waste of food and money.

Leo's Kitchen in Roseville truly impressed with its standout dishes and welcoming atmosphere. The wonton soup was a definite highlight, boasting a remarkably flavorful and well-seasoned broth. The delicate ribbons of egg flower added a lovely touch of richness and visual appeal. It’s the kind of soup you could happily savor bowl after bowl. The orange chicken proved to be a delightful surprise. The sauce struck a perfect balance of sweet and tangy, coating generously sized pieces of chicken that maintained a satisfying crispness. Its mild spice level makes it an accessible and enjoyable option for everyone at the table, perfect for sharing (or maybe not, as it’s quite tempting to keep it all to yourself!). Since my first review we have been back many times! I even tried the beef broccoli awhile back. It was very good! I added some new pictures. First review ; We love Leo's Kitchen! Everything we have tried here is always very good! We have had the cashew chicken, orange chicken, general chicken, walnut shrimp, fried rice and chow main noodles. The lunch special is daily even on the weekends. We always get the hot and sour soup, very good! They have a soda fountain..not soda from a can like some Chinese restaurants around.
