Levy’s Shawarma

10 Extremely disappointing twice. The first time we came as a family, almost nothing on the menu was available. No pita, several items unavailable. We had to get up and leave to find another place to eat. We decided to give it another chance last night. That was a mistake. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich. The pita was soggy with barely any chicken inside. The pieces of chicken were super tiny. I left three quarters of my pita on the plate. Unacceptable. My daughter had chicken nuggets and the fries were cold. Everything was served with complete indifference. When I told the waitress how bad the food was, she simply said sorry and walked away. She did not offer to replace anything or call a manager. It felt like they are used to these kinds of complaints. Very disappointing exper

I come here every 10 days or so. Great shishlik pita - good portion for dinner. Other dishes that I tried are tasty. Wonderful chocolate babka.

We came here for a post Pesach/ pre Shabbat lunch today. My hubs has been here multiple times when he grabs challah for Shabbat at Sarah’s Tent nearby but it was actually my first time. Have to say I enjoyed the plate I got. I opted for a shwarma plate since its less messy than getting a pita with all the ingredients inside. The items I put on my plate: Israeli salad, onions marinated with Sumac, pickles, tabouleh, hickory fries and of course chicken shwarma. Loooved the combination of all the food on the plate. Especially the onions with sumac. This really hit the spot. It was so juicy and flavorful and complemented the rest of the items on my plate so well. My wife and I just visited this place. At first, I asked a staff member if they had wraps, and I was told yes. I was then invited to go inside and choose what I wanted. When it was time to order, another employee began preparing my shawarma. In my experience, the process felt rushed. It was my first time there, and I needed a few moments to look at the options, but I felt hurried while deciding, which made the experience uncomfortable for me. I also later realized that what was offered was actually pita rather than a wrap — the difference seemed to be mainly in size. The ingredients inside the pita were good, and I did enjoy that part. However, the overall experience didn’t meet my expectations, and we personally wouldn’t choose to return.

I took my friend here who was visiting from Israel and he was as genuinely impressed with the quality. That’s a big endorsement! The food is amazing and Levy is a legend. The babka is second to none!
