Library Square

Oh, my God! I visited the newly renovated downtown Main Branch of the Cincinnati Public Library today and when I walked through the doors, I stopped in my tracks in awe and amazement! The renovation is absolutely beautiful! There is so much new construction, I really don't know where to start! So, instead of me giving a very short shrift description, that really wouldn't do it justice, I want to encourage and insist that everyone go pay visit. You won't be disappointed! I will mention the new Library Square outside renovation: It to is absolutely beautiful! There are new paved short walled structures that I can only describe it as been like large multi-shaped "planter" seatings with all kinds of fresh green plants and flowers. I haven't been to them all but I think this is the best library in the country. The staff are very patient and helpful with everyone. Their digital offerings are amazing. And they have books on any topic you can imagine

Took a tour of the MakerSpace. Abby did a fantastic job explaining all the opportunities patrons have in this amazing space. We are very lucky in Cincinnati to have such great Library employees & such great resources!

The Cincinnati Hamilton County Public Library is doing great things with summer programs designed to educate children and the general public. That said, only 4-stars given due to security issues and staff insensitivity.*

I love this big library hub. Construction sucks and it surrounds he place and making parking a pain in the butt as well and limited access to library.
