Lickity Split

Awesome little spot on the side of the road. They have all sorts of tasty treats, from fried food, wraps, ice cream, beverages, etc. They even have a nice shaded pavilion to sit under. A perfect little place.

So many flavors of soft serve, plus great sundaes and a substantial lunch / dinner food menu all served with friendly service. Outdoor picnic tables and toys for young kids to play with while waiting or the grownups are still eating. Note - cash only but they do have an ATM onsite.

Lickity split summed up in once sentence is: delicious food at reasonable prices! Their gyro, clam rolls, and fish fry are highly recommended! My only critique is the fish fry comes on a roll. I would prefer No roll, a larger portion, and charge me a couple bucks more. Because the fish is so good!! Also, forget the fries, ask to sub potato-Mac salad instead. Yes it's one salad - delicious and impressive! Oh and the chicken fries - the person I was with ordered them, and I thought "ok whatever they're chicken fries." Jokes on me, because holy cow, they're good. Get the honey mustard to dip them in. All the cone flavors are mixed per order, and they are very good. I recommend strawberry cheesecake and vanilla malt. They are also known for the New Orleans Shaved Ice - kind of like a snowco

If you are sick of golden arches and Kings of Fast Food, this is where you need to go. My order took MAYBE 3 minutes, and it was damn good! What matters most to me is the fact that there are REAL people behind the counter. I had a much more human experience here than I ever would at any of the chains 10 minutes south. If you’re searching for a quick bite that doesn’t bite an arm and a leg off, this is the place.

I am up on a family visit from the south and I had the most pleasant experience. The outside seating was clean and comfortable, the service was quick and extremely friendly and the food was delicious! The 61 flavors of soft serve, I didn't know what to choose there were so many! But I finally chose banana cream pie, soo delicious!! I will definitely be stopping back next year as they are closing 9/30, tomorrow! I highly recommend stopping in for a bite to eat and some desert 😀
