Life House Nantucket

Life House is an amazing place! This was our second time staying at this location. It is beautiful, cozy, and within walking distance of so many shops and restaurants. We needed to get off the island because of an impending storm and they worked with us to ensure that we could leave. If I could give them 10 stars, I would!!

My family had such a wonderful stay at Life House! The manager, Allison, was incredibly kind and accommodating—she went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The location is perfect, just the right distance from town. We can’t wait to come back!

We stayed at the Life House in August. The cost per night was quite high for the quality of hotel and service. There was only one person managing the property from what we could tell. Any time we called no one answered. There were really no amenities, restaurant, etc. The room was nice, but not worth the price. The hotel seemed to advertise a picture of a bar and maybe a restaurant when we reserved it, but that picture was from its sister hotel, the Faraway Hotel, which is not close. The Faraway Hotel is probably a 10 minute walk away, and none of Faraway hotel's amenities are really accessible. The location is decent, probably a 15 minute walk from the ferry, but not centralized enough for the price. If you are looking to stay at a hotel in August at the Life House price I would

Our stay was wonderful. We would love to come back here and stay to town. The location was perfect - just far enough out of downtown to have a quiet relaxing space but close enough to be back downtown within a 4-5 minute walk. Alison was so amazing. We would 100% come back again just to have her as our host again. The lemonade and cookies in the lobby every afternoon was icing on top of the cake. Highly recommend!

Spent two nights over the Memorial Day weekend. This Inn is perfectly situated where it’s close enough to walk anywhere within downtown Nantucket, but also far enough that the noise is not an issue. Rooms are very generous as too are the bathrooms. Mine had a big rain shower head that was perfect. The bed was very comfortable! There a nice courtyard off the side of the property with chairs, tables, and a gas fire pit. Perfect for the two cool evenings we had to enjoy a beverage before heading downtown for dinner. The Inn was recently purchased by the Lark Properties company. Allison Hines is in charge and has done a wonderful job so far and has big plans for the Inn this summer. She is very friendly, very helpful, and very flexible. My plans changed twice prior to my stay, and she accommod
