Light House Eatery

A gorgeous little family place, run by amazing people! From the moment we walked in we were wolcemed like we were family, initially by the cutest duo of puppies imaginable 😍. I assume this is a husband and wife establishment and the lovely lady took time to talk to us and gave us suggestions and generally made us feel at home. The food was perfect, everything fresh and delicious, the bear paw bread and biscuits were truly highlights. A must visit for sure!

Ordered two large soup with rolls got this for 😤 for $25 bucks, asked owner, old man cooking this is a large said yep go somewhere else if u want it cheaper. Cook/owner was rude as he'll, waitress was his wife she i guess doesn't know what a large is. Waited for 20 minutes for him to scoop it out of a cold pot in the fridge to those containers an bag it up. Measured it when I got home it was 8 Oz pretty sure that's a cup . What a joke !!! Will never go back again.

Had a great country style brunch here before we set off for the road. The lady was very friendly and welcoming. The food was tasty. We ordered a biscuit and gravy, a scrambled egg with hash brown and a apple-ee desert. The garlic bread that came with the scrambled egg bowl was really good! Eggs and hash brown was done right. Gravy was a bit too salty. The dessert was pretty decent, not overly sweet but flavorful.

If there is a drawback...it's the size. Need more room to stuff more people with this delicious food. Had breakfast here and the biscuit were super fresh. The bread/bear rolls were FLUFFY and all were very good. Price was cheap for the amount and quality of food. 10 out of 10bwill be back and do recommend
