Authentic and Delicious Filipino Food! Highlights: - Tender and juicy sweet pork belly (my favorite side dish!) - Amazing value: generous portion sizes at affordable prices, which is rare nowadays - Warm hospitality: The staff is warm and welcoming, taking the time to explain each dish and sharing their passion for Filipino cuisine - Delicious buns (great value for a dozen!) - Rotating side dishes, so there's always something new to try If you haven't tried Filipino food yet, this is the perfect place to start! I highly recommend this restaurant for the food, service, and warm atmosphere! :) [Below are pictures I took from my past few visits]
Lilian's Filipino Restaurant, a true gem, located in the Northridge mall, proves that food doesn't need a fancy setting in order to be amazing! My regular go to is their lechon, which is a STANDOUT —perfectly juicy and delicious, with incredibly crispy skin. Their dinuguan and adobo are also delicious, packed with rich, authentic flavor. To be quite honest, you really can't go wrong with anything you order from their menu; it's all outstanding!
I am really impressed by all the options made daily to choose from. This is the closest to authentic Filipino comfort food I have found outside of where I grew up in the Bay Area. -The Pancit bihon was delicious! Amazing flavor that was spot on! -The Pork Adobo was really good. Very tender and the sauce is very authentic! -The Lechon kawali was a bit dry and didn't have that trademark crunch, but the delicious dipping sauce saved it for me. -The 2 biggest misses were the hopia and turon. Hopia was dry and crumbly. Turon was just off and could use a little bit more filling inside. A fresh turon should have a little crunch as you bit through the sweet outer layer. These were soggy and chewy to the point it was hard to bite off a piece. Overall, good, and better than any place I've been in
One of our go-to breakfast spots when we're in the mood for some delicious Filipino food. They have a great selection, and everything we've tried has been really good. They really maximize their space and make good use of everything available to them, plus they're all super nice :)
Located inside the mall (former Ruby Thai spot).I'm so happy that we got some filipino food inside the mall.the prices are decent and the food selection is massive! Don't forget to try out their desserts! Especially the Halo-haloIt's the awesome!
