We had a great experience at Lilli and Loo. It’s such a relief to find a Chinese restaurant that is truly gluten-free friendly without sacrificing flavor. What really stood out was the service. Our server went above and beyond to walk us through the menu and explain dietary restrictions beyond just gluten. She took the time to make sure everything we ordered was safe, which made the entire experience feel comfortable and stress-free. That level of care is rare and very much appreciated. If you’re looking for gluten-free friendly Chinese food in NYC with attentive service and great flavors, this spot is absolutely worth visiting.
If I could give this more than 5 stars, I would. Hands down one of the best gluten free restaurants I've ever been to. Chicken and broccoli is out of this world, and I have literally taken their pan fried dumplings on an airplane before so I could freeze them at home. Staff is always so lovely and welcoming, and this new location is just gorgeous. Thank you, as always!
Americanized Chinese food was such a huge loss when I had to go gluten free and this is the only place I’ve found that can satisfy the cravings! Some things like fried dumplings are still somewhat obviously gluten free but the sesame chicken is undetectable. Non gluten free boyfriend was happy with the food too. Been there a few times and food and service is always good.
Came here because I’m gluten free and was blown away by all their gluten free menu options. It was endless! They even provide a specific menu for you. My colleague did get the dumplings (not gluten free). It was a cozy atmosphere. Large serving sizes. I greatly enjoyed the food and atmosphere.
Timing is everything when looking for good food in a cold winter night for a dozen tourists in the city at 630pm. Open table to the rescue, 12 people, 730pm, confirmed. Done. Secured. Walked 10 minutes to this Bar and Restaurant, from the outside only the bar is visible so we were not sure they have the space for all of us only to find out the there are numerous tables and rooms selection in the back. The asher was kind enough to accommodate us 45 minutes earlier than our booking. Gave us the private room too. Nicely decorated, warm, and plenty of space to move about. Food selection was NO problem, food allergens were quickly established and noted, good balance of vegetables and meat were suggested, and a great spread came afterwards in no time. Overall experience was pleasantly comforta
