I’ve come here several times and I’ve waited to give this place a chance to see if the food would change in how well it’s cooked but this is my final time coming to Lily P’s because it’s clear that the food is terrible each and every single time. I want to get one thing straight, customer service is amazing. I’ve never had a problem with the people here. They’re always nice and ready to take my order. The issue is the food. The chicken is always dry and tastes as if it has been through an air dryer for longer than it should have. The quality of the food does not match the price you pay. I’ve gotten both the chicken sandwich and the tenders from here and the chicken seems to be made the same way. You’re honestly better off getting chicken from the nearby Mcdonald’s. The chicken is rough and
I've eaten here many times throughout the years. The chicken sandwiches are consistently high quality. They season them very well. My personal favorite is Mr. Henson. The fries are amazing. Some of my favorites in boston.
I get it - rent is not cheap considering the location. And it's a food court. Service was ok, but dude, $18 for mouthfuls of chicken and salad is still way overpriced. That chicken looks NOTHING like in the picture too. Having to witness the guy pull out a bag of way-past-dead frozen chicken cutlets from the freezer after paying, I felt like I was going through the 5 steps of grieving, currently stuck at denial and anger. Edit to add: They actually have a decent restaurant in Cambridge?? Ok now this is officially unacceptable.
I loved the main location in Cambridge and was really craving a fried chicken sandwich so I went to Lily P's in Hub Hall. I paid $13 for what looked like a 3 day old tiny piece of chicken with soggy breading. It still tasted good but frankly I've had better sandwiches at McDonalds for less than half the price. For what it's worth the people working there were great. Strongly recommend the main Cambridge location and strongly recommend avoiding this one.
Worst chicken sandwich i have ever had. Was severely undercooked and mushy, and the fries were over-seasoned. Gave me nausea and food poisoning. Also, the service was terrible, dismissive staff. This place is insanely overpriced too, $20 for a chicken sandwich is some diabolical work. I hope this place gets shut down, go somewhere else
