Early January 2026 Authentic Italian deli and general store that serves both cold and warm meals and handmade sandwiches 🥪 😋 👌 as well as serves other food provisions, while offering a wide range of regional products. Tucked in one of the streets near Van Ness is a more than 10 year establishment with a varied and well displayed set menu deli combining fresh and well choice cuts of meats. The adjoining store offers the visitors ample alternatives for gourmet and European products including the alcohol. Sandwiches and pizzas are served in generous and well balanced portions. Desserts 🍨 🥧 🍦are also available at the goods section. We were fortunate to share a few moments with the kind owner while waiting for our order. The service was quick and our takeaways were well packaged. The in

Great sandwiches! The portions are huge and the ingredients are high-quality. The prices are very reasonable, and I think it’s a great value for the money. The sides in the sandwich are very flavorful, and there’s a generous amount of meat. However, the bread is on the firmer side, so you might want to consider that if you prefer soft bread. The shop is well-organized, and the staff are all very enthusiastic. Definitely worth a second visit!

I saw that people claimed that Limoncello were serving up the best sandwiches in SF. I’m a sucker for a good sandwich, so I had to give it a try while I was up in the area. The shop is pretty cute. Has a nice Italian deli vibe to it. Cured meats and stuff hanging and all that good stuff. I have to admit, the menu was a bit overwhelming, and some of the sandwiches seemed very similar in description. So, it was a bit of a challenge narrowing down what I wanted. That said, the sandwiches I tried ended up being quite good. The best I’ve ever eaten? Probably not, but the best I’ve had in SF? Quite possibly, yes. One downside was that they don’t have sourdough bread as a sandwich roll option. Kind of a disappointment for a sandwich shop in the bay. Still, I’d definitely go out of my way to h

I would definitely recommend Limoncello for a delicious quality sandwich at a local San Francisco establishment! We ordered the number 13, which is a delicious mortadella sandwich. The ingredients were fresh and the sandwich was super tasty. The owners are incredibly kind and make you feel very welcome. This spot is also an Italian market with a wide variety of unique products. It's places like this that make me proud to live in San Francisco.

Came here to grab a quick lunch to go and ended up really liking this spot. The space has small grocery section and a deli counter. Definitely the kind of place locals stop by regularly rather than a one-time visit. I got the caprese sandwich but made it spicy. The bread was crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. All the ingredients tasted fresh, and the spice added a ton without overwhelming the classic caprese flavors. Because it’s part grocery store, the drink selection is way better than your typical place. The staff was also super friendly, they even gave my dog some meat! There’s minimaI seating here, but I can easily see myself coming back here often for a quick to go meal.
