Customer Reviews
Found a long piece plastic bag in my Cole slaw called and told them about they offered me a five percent discount on my next meal by praying it doesn’t make me ill I would not want anything if they offered it to me free it just turned my stomach when I saw the plastic coming out of my coleslaw and it didn’t stop. It was a very long piece up under my coleslaw. I don’t see how they could’ve missed that..
The food was awesome, service was meh, but the establishment was so disgusting that I will never eat there again. If the front of the building where all of the customers done is as nasty as it is, I can only imagine what the back looks like. I could understand if it were busy, but it wasn't...at all. I watched the waitress clear 3 tables and not wipe the first one. Tables were filthy, seats were filthy, floors, walls, bbq bottles, paper towel roll had food all over it. Like I said, food was great but you won't catch me eating here again until they clean it top to bottom.
An amazing plate of catfish, hush puppies, and fried veggies. A must stop when in Columbus in my opinion!
I have eaten at the Little Dooey in Starkville before and it was great so I figured this one would be as well. I was sadly disappointed. I got the super combo plate which included pulled pork, ribs and chicken with waffle fries, baked beans and toast. The toast was by far the best thing on my plate. Honestly everything tasted like reheated leftovers. Their bbq sauce was decent but not the vinegar based one. The service was good but the restaurant has that greasy feel to it. Not that it was dirty but that's the feeling you get sitting there. I can say that the slice of pecan pie from the refrigerator was excellent but overall I wasn't impressed and doubtful to ever return.
Ok folks, you know it’s gonna be good when the parking lot is packed at 2pm. And folks, it was very good. I had the catfish with mac & cheese and slaw. I have found a food stop for Columbus, MS.
