Little Italy Restaurant

Went here based on a recommendation from a friend. It is a little out of my usual travels BUT it was well worth it. This was the best Italian meal I have had in the Hampton Roads area. I especially enjoyed their garlic knots that came with the meal. I had the Penne alla Vodka and my wife had their Spaghetti Carbonara. Both were well prepared with just the right spices. Their prices are very reasonable and their service was the best I have experienced - attentive but not intrusive, very well done. I hope to make this short trip to the Fentress area part of a standard routine so that I can stop at the Little Italy restaurant on a more frequent basis.

I ordered from Little Italy Resturant and I am happy I did. I ordered the Chicken parm and some wings. At first I was a little bothered by the size of the wings but the way the lemon pepper was seasoned on them and the crispy yet juicy taste won me over quickly. The chicken parm and salad was great was well. The suace had just the right amout of flavor to compliment the Chicken. I will be ordering this combo again.

Very nice, clean and friendly italian/pizza place. The garlic knots are heaven - if they weren't bread, they'd be pastry. The eggplant parmesan is very good - I upgraded the side salad to a Greek salad. The salad is very fresh with nice presentation. The dressing is great. Service was fast and friendly. I hear the meatballs are great. Will have to try on my next visit.

I took 9 family members here last night for a pre-Christmas dinner and it was a great choice. Our waitress Ellyce did an outstanding job considering it was busy and she was one of only 2 servers. I felt she was very quick, even though she kept apologizing thinking she was slow, she wasn't, and was very entertaining to us all! The pizza was just like NY pizza and very good, and those who got pasta and subs were very happy with the taste and big portions. My son couldn't finish his Philly sub it was so big. The atmosphere was surprisingly quiet for as busy as it was and we could all hear each other without yelling. A great night for one and all! ps. you might ask why the 4 stars on food. I'm Italian and only my mom(RIP) gets 5 stars on that, Lol!

Lots of value here. Portion size was great. You will not leave hungry. It was the first time here so I ordered several things. I had some pizza, garlic knots and lasagna. It was all good but if you like pizza, it was amazing. Staff was friendly and it was affordable. I’ll be back.
