Little Lighthouse Farm

Highly recommended. We had a wonderful stay. The old farmhouse is full of history and personality, and the location although without ocean views, was filled with ample sunlight and breezes and lovely stone walls. The ducks, chickens and goats provided amusement but were in no way intrusive. The hosts are incredibly warm and considerate. Apart from leaving beautiful greens and peas from the garden on the kitchen counter, I forgot to pack a half dozen shirts in one of the closets when leaving. Laura shipped those to me the next day and refused payment. Overall, a great experience that feels very much like old vineyard and in the best ways.

Little Lighthouse Farm is a magical getaway for anyone looking to relax, take in the natural sights and sounds of the island and make lasting memories. The hosts are friendly and accommodating. They provided directions to a quiet/secluded beach, spent time answering the kids questions about the animals, even allowed us to use their bicycles. The fire pit area was perfect for late night adult conversation after the kids were tucked in bed. The outdoor shower provided a delightful way to start the day. I enjoyed taking a morning stroll to Gayhead lighthouse and taking in the magnificent view. The house itself is clean, comfortable and beautifully curated with original artwork. We had a wonderful five-night visit to Little Lighthouse Farm in late June. The 1850s house is both rustic and beautifully decorated, with a well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and fresh breezes coming through the windows. We loved the farm-like setting with ducks and chickens running around as well as our daily deliveries of eggs and fresh greens from the garden. Laura was always available and super helpful. We’ll be back!

My family and I cherish the 2 weeks we spent at the Little Lighthouse Farm last year, we will definitely return for another extended stay. Our 3 yo loved helping with the animals and we all enjoyed gathering eggs in the morning, picking vegetables from the garden, taking outdoor baths and showers & daily walks to the private beach (rain or shine). Laura kindly watched our son while my husband and I had a dinner out at State Road one evening, which was really special. Walking up to the cliff shops to get an easy meal & ice cream was a treat. The pass to Philbin beach was also a highlight. If you're looking for a peaceful and nature-rich getaway, Aquinnah & the Little Lighthouse Farm is the place to be!

Magical experience !!! Between the farm fresh eggs, gorgeous historic house, farm animals, spacious outdoor porch, private beaches in walking distance, herbs and produce from the garden, decadent outdoor bathtub.....it was like being in another reality. I found the experience very healing and restorative. And the hosts could not be more accommodating and wonderful !
