Little Ocha of the Valley

Very delicious food. There are no formally designated vegetarian options on the menu but fret not they can make the chow mein and curry vegetarian. No oyster and fish sauce, and it was spectacular! There's also fried tofu. The cooks did great! Servers were speedy and very kind. I appreciated them! There weren't a lot of people because I dined during a weekday.

My girlfriend and I ordered takeout from here. The drunken noodles were a great portion and had decent flavor, but the tom yum soup was so sour and limey that we couldn’t eat it. When I called, they said that’s just how they make their tom yum soup. So either they don’t know how to make tom yum soup, or they messed up and lied to me.

Horrible service. A rainy day and we still decided to go. We were greeted by a “sassy” adult. He was so not happy about working today. Another man, “helped” us. Again, sassy is the word without offending. Idk if they’re dating but we as a family picked up on the vibe. Call it jealousy? Idk, they both left a sour taste in our mouths. We ordered soup, and drinks. Mind you, very affordable. We’ve ordered here many times before. Today- We wanted to order more but we didn’t because the atmosphere was so off. We’ve been here many times before and ordered much more and our bill wasn’t as high as today. Our party is usually 5 and it was less today. Normally we order much more. But today it was slim due to these employees acting up. They were very unprofessional and it didn’t add up to our total.

The server cheerfully tolerated my ignorance about the cuisine. The food came quickly and with a wonderful presentation. Tasted great. Friendly and helpful staff. I just wish I knew enough to order intelligently. I shall return soon to continue my education.

They have plenty of parking, we waited to be seated, they put our left overs into container for us while we waited for our to go order of tom yum soup & this one spicy chicken dish with bell peppers. I wish we also got another of spicy fried rice with chicken or shrimp as a the meat choice to go since our left overs had us craving for more rice. Everything was delicious. Highly recommend this spot when the weather is bad and can’t make it to LA. I really enjoyed the classical music they played. It’s a lovely spot to have a great meal with family.
