"Stopped by Little Ruby's Williamsburg for a casual meal—the spot has a really nice, cozy Aussie-cafe vibe with a warm multi-level space and chill atmosphere. The staff were super friendly and attentive, which made the visit enjoyable. Food was decent but nothing too special or memorable (we had [insert what you ate if you want, e.g., pasta or a burger], it was fine but didn't wow). Solid option if you're in the area and want something approachable with good service, but not a must-return for the food alone. Overall, I'd give it 4 stars—great people and vibes, average eats." You can tweak it to add specifics like what dish you tried (their menu highlights things like spicy vodka pasta, Bronte burger, avo toast, or schnitzel), or the time of day (brunch/lunch/dinner). A coworker and I stopped at Little Ruby’s Cafe in Williamsburg to grab a bite to eat and get a little work done while we waited for our hotel rooms to be ready. We asked for a slightly bigger table to accommodate a working lunch and promised to move if the restaurant became crowded. The staff was very kind and sat us at a 4-top. The food was delightful. I had the chicken burger (not a burger, just a chicken sandwich, it’s an Australian thing) and it was perfection - crispy and flavorful. While the sandwich was great, the fries stole the show. I would absolutely go out of my way to get those amazing fries again. Our food came out super fast and they assured us it was fine to keep working after we finished eating. They even kept offering refills of our tea and water. It’s like they could t

Overall a great night out although the pace at which your table is turned around means it’s probably not the best place for a leisurely dinner. We were in and out within an hour, which for a three course meal is pretty fast. Apologies for the lack of photos but we were too busy eating. The starters of calamari, truffle fries and salad were tasty and well done. The mains were fabulous. Three of us had pasta, the other had chicken schnitzel with what I would say was some of the smoothest mash potatoes I’ve ever seen! Everyone was satisfied—me included as I savored my Ruby’s ragu, which was simply delicious. We all shared a sticky date pudding to finish off. The starter and main servings were all of a good size, so good that no one thought they could manage a full dessert on their own! So

I’ve been to nearly every Ruby’s Cafe location across New York, and in terms of food quality alone, Bronte here is the best I’ve had. The meat was exceptionally juicy, well-seasoned, and noticeably more flavorful than other branches. However, the operational execution does not match the food quality. I visited on a Saturday shortly after 10 AM. The dining room was not fully occupied, yet the food took an unusually long time to arrive. It was evident that to-go orders were being prioritized over dine-in guests. I fully understand peak-hour pressures, but even at much busier Soho and West Village locations, I have never experienced this level of delay. This is not a staffing issue—it is a workflow and prioritization issue. If dine-in guests are made to feel secondary to takeout traffic, it

We came here for brunch just now and ordered 2 simple dishes. One sandwich and one burrito. I didn’t know how big the portion was so wanted to wait till the food arrives before deciding if I want to order additional side dishes. The 2 simple dishes took 40 mins to arrive. During that time, the party next to us had ordered, finished eating and paid. By the time the food finally came after the bartender followed up with the kitchen twice, my mood was beyond spoiled that I just wanted to finish the food and leave. Absolutely had no mood or patience to order any additional dishes and risked waiting for another 40 mins for the food to come Ps/ the bartender was very apologetic and offered coffee for free, which was appreciated.
