Came here with friends before and had a pretty good experience overall. We went on a weekday evening, and it wasn’t too crowded, so we didn’t have to wait. The environment was clean and comfortable, making it a nice place to sit and chat while eating. The food came out at a normal pace, and the staff was responsive whenever we needed something. One thing that really stood out was the large platter of meat. It looked very appetizing and was generous in portion. The meat quality was decent, not super high-end, but for the price, it felt fair and worth it. Overall, it’s a solid spot if you’re craving hot pot and want a relaxed place to catch up with friends. I’d come back again and would definitely recommend it to people in the area.

Came for hot pot and found their $25.59 lunch set — includes soup base, sauces, and you can pick 9 items from a large selection. Each set also comes with a full plate of meat, so ordering two basically gave us unlimited beef, lamb, and pork. Recommended: shrimp, baby cuttlefish, beef tripe, celtuce, tender beef, and beef tendon. They also have Kagoshima A5 wagyu — rich and worth trying. Also liked the brown sugar rice cakes, liangfen (cold jelly), cilantro pork meatballs, and the squid. We chose tomato and mild spicy broth, but the “mild” is actually pretty spicy, so the liangfen helped cool things down.

Went here on a Wednesday night and the staff were so sweet! Everything was super fresh and the prices for the wagyu were unbeatable compared to other hot pot places. I loved all the large variety of side dishes and dessert options. Definitely recommend this spot and can’t wait to be back for their lunch special!

We had such a great time at Liu Yi Shou Hotpot in San Jose! Everything was fresh and tasty — the spicy broth hit just the right level, and the meat quality was amazing. The staff were super friendly and kept refilling our soup and drinks without us even asking. Cozy atmosphere, clean tables, and great value. Totally recommend this spot if you love authentic hotpot!
