LJ's Burgers & Ice Cream

Was just there about 1/2hr ago. My double cheeseburger was barely warm and the fries were awful. They must have been reheated cuz they were hard, to salty, and not tasty at all. It had been awhile since I ate there and I won't be back food terrible. Speaker not working so had to go to the window to order. Must have been only one person working. Too bad the orginial Littlejohns isn't here anymore thats when the food was awesome as was the service.

Ordered a birthday cake, asked for it to be decorated blue, I was told there was no cake decorator and that they use little candy letters. Ok cool, no problem I asked for it to be just the cake and I can decorate it myself as I used to decorate cakes. This is what I got. The candies are frozen on and won’t come off so I can’t fix it. Happy BIRTDAY I guess 🎉 EDIT TO ADD: ice cream ended up tasting freezer burnt and there was no cake or whatever filling they use in it. Definitely a great 6th birthday 🎂

The fries here where AMAZING! The burger was alright but nothing special. I'd definitely recommend trying this place out. It looks kind of sketchy on the outside but sometimes those are the best places. Im absolutely going to give it another go and see what it think.

Tenderloin was off the hook, fries and mushrooms were just as hot and the staff was pleasant. Best fast food on the North and East side of Des Moines

Food was small and waited over 10 minutes. Was given a drink and no carbonation tasted awful. Told them they said nothing wrong with it . Did not want to debate. Will not be going back! And one sauce for two chicken dinners.
