L&L Hawaiian Grill

I've had L&L in other locations several times. This one is the first that disappointed me. The food tasted okay, albeit salty. It appeared my Kahlua pork with cabbage was prepared incorrectly, more like pork and cabbage soup. The Mac salad and rice were also wet, probably because they carelessly dumped the juice into the tray. I included photos of my meal. I ate it and didn't complain because whatever. It was edible, just disappointing and poorly cared for. I wish I could take back the tip. I ate lunch with coworkers and their meals turned out fine. The nice lady running the counter seemed overtasked trying to push orders out during the usual lunch hour. It's on a base so atmosphere wis a crowded and cluttered food court.

The place is like half a restaurant and half fast food. You order, pay and pick up at the counter and then can sit in the tables. The place is clean and service was just OK. Location is convenient as no need to go outside the base facilities. Wouldn't mind coming back.

Ordered a steak and shrimp combo. My first impression was that they could pack a bit more steak and shrimp. When I finished the meal, I was full though. The steak meat was tasty and cooked well. Just a bit more salad would have been great!

Good food awesome atmosphere, they don't get very busy, at least at the time I came but other than that everything else is awesome definitely recommend this restaurant.

I have been getting the same order at L&L all over the island and this is the only one I'm disappointed with. It takes 10 extra minutes to go to the one in Aikahi shopping center and the food is easily 2 stars better. I wouldn't be reviewing if I didn't know what it's potential could be. The serving sizes are the smallest I've had of any in the chain. The chicken is burnt and tough, the steak is dry and flavorless, and the mac salad is too watery. Very disappointing. Again, I would just never come back if I didn't have the exact same food 10 minutes away and had a much worse experience. Just go to the one in Aikahi park, for your own sake.
