1st time here. My daughter picked this place to come for her birthday. Mike was our server he was great. The place became very crowded and they didn't have that many servers but Mike was great. My daughter had the rigatoni with sausage for her dinner. She didn't like it. They had a homemade fresh sauce and it didn't have enough flavor for her. My husband had the Amish chicken it was juicy and good. I had the steak fritts. I asked for it medium well and it came back medium rare. My husband had more of my steak than I did. For dessert we had the mouse and peaches and creme. The area is cute. We would go back again.
Food came out quite fast and everyone enjoyed it very much. The pumpkin ravioli was the perfect amount of food. We had a mix up with our order and got double charged which was unfortunate but they were accommodating for our party of 8.
The food just wasn’t that good. It was probably the worst brunch I’ve had in the 5 years I’ve lived in the Philly area. No coffee offerings except for drip. No black teas except for decaf. Moms had strollers littering the walkways, obstructing even the servers that were working. The ambience was loud. Our table was a tall two top by an indoor tree. There’s room for an indoor tree but not one for our small bags. Service was slow. Layout was crowded. There are many better choices. Even chain restaurants have better options. One good note- Our server was nice and helpful when she did pop by. I won’t be going again and I don’t recommend that you go either.
this place was mid. I came for dinner around 5 pm with a party of 4. sadly happy hour is limited to the bar area. Nothing really stood out in terms of dishes so we ordered a cheeseboard, salads, a smashburger, and a carbonara. the pasta was wayyy too salty and heavy. the cheeseboard was a bit dissappointing and we werent given any plates and cheese knives/forks initially, but then asked for some and they apologized. in terms of service, it was giving disingenous with a touch of snooty and annoyed, which is just too much for such an average restaurant. very deceiving because it looks like such a safe space from the decor and gender neutral restrooms 😔
We stayed outside away from crowd. Would recommend the burgers (chicken) and the brussel sprout app (it was really good). The honey was a nice sweet addition.
