Small, but tasty sandwiches. Not burgers, although you can get a burger patty as a meat option. I tried that and the other options- weenie, ham, and shredded beef. The ham was my favorite of all the ones I tried. The bread is really the star. Light and at the same times dense like a English muffin. Chips and Mexican sodas also available.

Known for their lonches, but the burgers are the best IMO. Cant best the bread, great tasting burger patties. “Smashburger”- like patties.

Best mexican burgers (deshebrada), especially the little Mexican jalapenos. There are so tasty.

Lonches El Popo is a local sandwich shop. But do not be confused by what you know as a sandwich like a sub. These specific type of sandwiches are a hybrid between a burger and a sandwich. In their menu only offer 4 different type of sandwiches shredded beef, cooked wiener dog, burger type and breaded steak. The sandwiches are served fresh and hot. The taste is unique and the food is flavorful. You will not be disappointed by your visit.

8/31/2022. Still the best lonches/Burgers, but the prices are getting out of hand! $3.35 for a small burger??? I wish they would offer other items like fries. The Padrino #1 on park has a combo that includes 2 lonches, 1order of fries and 1 soda for $7.99. If they can do it why can't Popo do the same. Anyhow, at least the chili serannos are still free! 🙂
