Lopez Mexican Food (Previously The Loco Frijole)

Great food and fantastic service (I think our server was Lizzie) at this family run Mexican spot. Good value for money too which is a pleasant surprise in a ski resort town, just look at the size of this carne burrito. Free chips and salsa when you sit down as well which is always a plus.

Fun place to have dinner. Great service. Seems like a local family owned restaurant and they make vegetarian taco combinations if you ask - they also let you know which beans are vegetarian.

Honestly surprised by how good the food was considering we were the only customers there at the time! I got the carne asada plate which was grilled to perfection with a crisp but still juicy and thick enough cuts. Loved the Jamaica agua Fresca. My partner got a michelada which was also massive and delicious. Complimentary chips and salsa as well. Wanted to give this place a shoutout so they can get more customers in the future since everyone seems to congregate at the brewery around the corner.

I always come here for the mango margaritas! I Love love love them! With the tajin 🤤 Recently we had their chicken wings and nachos, OH EM GEE. Not exaggerating they were the best my boyfriend and I have had. I love the mom and pop family atmosphere.

Local spot with good food. There is often only one employee waiting tables and tending bar, but the food outweighs any inconvenience from waiting. Try the tacos. Fish taco was enormous, and burial and lengua were delicious
