Lopez Taqueria & Liquor

We are staying in Monterey for 1 night and arrived from Yosemite via Santa Cruz, all we wanted was some simple inexpensive food and this place delivered. I had the Carne Asada burrito and my wife had the chicken, we shared a beer and I think this could be the best burrito I have ever eaten! The green salsa was sooo good, do not miss a chance to eat here, the checkout guy was really helpful and the chef is lovely

Super yummy! We enjoyed the food after our drive down from Campbell. Service was great. The elderly man who took our order was so nice & friendly. Food was fresh to order. It was my first time having the white beans and it was delicious! I asked what kind it was - and he happily told me about the Peruano bean. We were with our 2 young kids and they were able to accomodate our request of plain shrimp & fish taco. The camarones diablo was too spicy for me but the hubby enjoyed it. Definitely a no frills place but the food was worth the visit. Will definitely come by again the next time we’re in town.

This taqueria offers many types of liquors, including a huge wall of single serve items. The venue especially table seating area is fair condition with some accessible tables

Everyone here super sweet! Good food too! Menuedo on the weekends and they have a lot of other soups too. Really good food and great customer service what more can u ask for these days! They play some music too very nice... Thanks Loez Taqueria 🤗

I love this place!! We ordered the fish and shrimp tacos and a shrimp burrito....SO delicious. Bursting with flavour and so fresh. Also the couple that own the place are lovely. We're staying in Monterey for 4 days and we'll definitely be visiting Lopez's again before we leave!
