Los 3 Hermanos Panaderia Bakery and Deli

Would be nice if they had signs of what the items are and prices. We asked what things were, we were told in mildly broken English "bread, donuts & cakes" and she pointed. It would be nice to know the types/flavors of breads, cakes & donuts. But what I did get all have been great.

We’ve been here 2 times and the pastries all look so good but they’re basically all bread. I thought the pastries were okay. We will go back and maybe try some of their cookies and some donuts. We just picked the wrong ones. Also, if you have someone who speaks Spanish, take them with you. Their English is not that great!

Did I have to make a u-turn as soon as I saw this sign, yes! Was it worth it? Yes! I haven't been to a bakery like this in years. The smell of freshly baked goods hit you as soon as you walk in the door. It was lot more to chose from then I thought it would be. I didn't see the tres leches cake at first, it's kinda off to the side. The cake was delicious and coconut donuts are always my favorite. Fyi, The little people with me took a bite out of everything before I could take pictures. Take out only

Los Tres Hermanos is one of those special places you don't often expect to find in Roanoke. It's an authentic panaderia, with Mexican style pan dulce as well as refrigerated cakes like tres leches. Certain days of the week they also offer the best carnitas you will find. I am not kidding you when I say these are better than any carnitas I've had, even in Los Angeles. One of the other reviewers mentioned how in some places, much of the pan dulce tastes sort of.... the same. I've been to those places and I don't go back for more, but here you can taste the difference in every pan dulce. Their execution is wonderful, the baked goods are always fresh and delicious, and you can see the effort that goes into the quality of every product they sell. Incredible variety! Everything is very fresh! The staff is super friendly. The layout of the store makes it so easy to find what you like. The ambience is as sweet as the pastries.
