Los Caballeros

A cozy Mexican restaurant around the corner, nice ambiance and big servings but the food tastes average. I loved their fresh chips and spicy salsa 8/10. Burritos 7/10 and quesadillas 7/10.

Service was excellent! José took very good care of keeping our water filled and drinks coming at a great pace. The starter chips and nacho appetizer were delicious. The cocktails were very well mixed and balanced, with a wide variety of options. The food was spectacular, well cooked and seasoned to perfection. Meat fell right off the bone and the Salmon Cancun was absolutely delicious.

Great mexican restaurant! Loved everything in the veggie burrito! We came at 4pm on a Sunday and it was very empty. The waiter was very kind and friendly. The cherry ontop is their quac doesnt cost anything extra to put inside a burrito! Would gladly visit again.

Stopped by Los Caballeros in DC and really enjoyed it! I had the nachos and my coworker tried the enchiladas – both were flavorful and well-seasoned. The atmosphere makes it a great spot to grab happy hour drinks after work. Definitely worth checking out!

When we arrived, only a couple of groups were seated. By the time we left, open tables were few. One man was running the show, with, of course, someone behind the scenes, cooking up the meals. I was impressed at how he kept track of so many tables: taking orders, making drinks, serving, cleaning tables, dropping the little machine off that lets you pay your bill. The atmosphere was very relaxed. No one seemed to be in a hurry, but rather, people sat and enjoyed conversation. This seems to be the spot for local DC people to get a good meal, no frills and no fuss. The guy in charge had no time for conversation, but he got the job done. My one complaint would be that if he had had help, I might have asked for a second glass of water -- or maybe wouldn't have had to ask in the first place. I w
