Los Carnales Mexican Food

My little family and I come here almost every month when we are craving Mexican food. Their prices and portion sizes are always perfect. I love family owned businesses and this family sure can cook. Not to mention how sweet and kind the family is. We always order carne asada fries which feeds two people. A California burrito. My little toddler loves their rice on the side. The salsa both green and red are perfection. We ordered the churros today and it was so dang good. Highly recommend this place. Another thing to point out is how clean it is inside the restaurant. We dine in each time and each time the whole place is sparkly clean. Tables and floors always look like they were scrubbed and clean.

If you want to pay a lot money for the smallest portion size this is the place to go. I’ve had microwaved taquitos better than this. Paid $10 for three taquitos the size of my pinky finger . Coming from Texas Mexican food this is just sad.

I can see how others would like this type of Mexican Food. We are from Texas and it's just a bit different. We are used to homemade flour tortillas and these were not. I had bean and cheese tacos, but I only ate the beans and not the tortillas. The crane asada tacos were really good though! The green salsas was a delicious.

Food is mid, not authentic Mexican but they tried, this must be that mexirado food I was hearing about. Tortillas are not homemade, however the potatoes and bacon are made perfectly. Agua frescas is not authentic, but more of a premade powder drink. The refried beans are dry, not sure if they use any Manteca to refry them .The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is good.
