Went in based on the high reviews so I was excited and hungry as heck. Tried the burrito Movado with asada and a couple of barbacoa tacos. The barbacoa was just OK, much better with some red salsa. The asada in the burrito simply lacked flavor. Always wondered how places slip up on something as simple as properly seasoning some meat. Salt, pepper, garlic powder and boom, there it is. I think this place could be solid with a few minor tweaks.

This is one of my favorite taco restaurants in OC county. Fairly good prices with amazing food and good service, would recommend every day

We just ate the green wet burrito and five carnitas tacos with the green salsa. When I say these are the BEST tacos I've ever consumed, i mean it! I've been eating tacos since I was a kid and have eaten at over 30 different restaurants including the fast food options. These are very much worth it, the flavor was bold and delicious, the crispiness of the carnitas was perfection , the tortillas didn't fall apart, and the salsa was to die for! The green salsa is perfect for those who can't handle too big a kick with their spice. The wet burrito was full of meat, so tasty and topped with cheese and sour cream. It was filling my partner up three quarters in which is saying a lot. The atmosphere was perfect, nice and quiet for me. The inside was clean and had about five tables where you can sit

For over five years, my coworkers and I have made Los Escaleras Taco Shop our go-to lunch spot. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and consistently delicious. We can’t get enough of the tacos dorados, wet burrito, chilaquiles, and honestly anything with chicharrón. Add in friendly service, great prices, and generous portions, and you’ve got one of Orange’s best hidden gems. Always a favorite!

We love the potato tacos and the taco salad. They are so amazing!
