This Uruguayan Argentinian restaurant offered an unforgettable dining experience that truly showcased the richness and heart of South American cuisine. From the very first bite to the final dessert every dish felt carefully prepared flavorful and deeply satisfying. To start I tried a variety of empanadas including chorizo sausage cheese and onion spinach and chicken. While each one had its own distinct flavor the chicken empanada stood out the most and was by far my favorite. It was perfectly seasoned tender and incredibly juicy with a balance of spices that made it both comforting and exciting. A hidden gem worth the detour We stumbled upon Los Gauchitos Restaurant by chance and were genuinely delighted that we did. The food is delicious and clearly inspired by Uruguayan and Argentinian cuisine, with comforting, well-executed flavors that feel both authentic and generous. Prices are fair and reasonable, especially for the quality and portions, which makes this an easy place to recommend. While the ambience could be elevated a bit, it doesn’t take away from the experience once the food arrives. What really sets this place apart is the added charm of the small market inside—you can pick up mate, wine, teas, dulce de leche, and other products from Uruguay and Argentina. All I can say is WOW… just .8 miles from the Miami airport Marriott … walk your fatties down it is sooo good and best service I have had in a long time… we choose sandwich…. But the grilled meats they do table side looks to die for! And pastry’s 🤤! We will be back!

Carmen was an absolute the very best waitress. I will be coming back. Food is absolutely scrumptious. I had the special and every single bite I had was phenomenal. I also had the dessert from Uruguay.

If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would. This place is 10 out of 10. Simple home cooked food, which has more taste than some top-class restaurants. The staff can not do enough to help you make your choice, exampling all the dishes in a friendly manner. From appetiser to main the flavours flood out of the food. This place is a hidden gem, if your staying overnight near the airport and want to relax and enjoy some great food, check this place out.
