Los Girasoles Mexican Restaurant

Came to visit my daughter and grandkids. Had to eat before going home and my daughter brought us here. Being that I am a foodie she knew I would like it. Husband had 2 tacos de cabeza 2 tacos de campachanos. I had 1 sope de lengua, 1 taco de chorizo and 1 pupusa de chicharron con queso. Daughter had 1 pupusa de queso. Granddaughter had quesadilla de pollo con arroz y ensalada. Grandson had kids nuggets. We also had Guacamole, cheese dip. Tacos were fresh with nice flavor. Tortillas were good. Pupusas were outstanding. The curtido wasn't quite as good as I make or have had. The rice was great. So many places use cheap rice and the grains break in the cooking process. Truly fair prices.chiles Chiles Toreados , all tacos with hand made tortillas and side of onions were great. The soup was packed and hot but a lil cheesy tasting which was off. I still ate it. I could order from here again. Rice was good, guacamole was wet. Know what to get and what not to

I ordered nachos . With two meats chicken and steak . I ordered the extras on the side because I hate soggy nachos. The meal was 12.99 so with taxes I was excepting at least 13.50 even 14 dollars my total came up to 16.73 . I proceeded to ask her how much was tax and she stated that because I ordered the things on the side I was charged extra for the cups … NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE I HEARD SUCH FOOLISHNESS. I will never come here and I suggest you guys shouldn’t either . The food isn’t quality barely any chicken on here . Overall I give it a 2 the portion was a decent size that is the main take away for my rating . Save your self some time and money and go to another local Mexican spot .

Had three tacos with homemade corn tortillas, grilled chicken and fresh cilantro, onions, tomatoes and tomatillo sauce. Delicious. Reasonable price.

The good was authentic and great tasting. I had a very sweet waitress!
