Los Potros Mexican Restaurant (Chickamauga)

Found the food to be rather tasteless. Chips and salsa all tasted like a bad grocery store brand. I had chicken Flautas and crunchy beef tacos. Almost nothing inside the Flautas made them flat on flavor, though they were nice and crispy. Taco meat had no flavor. A friend had Camarunes Chipotle shrimp in chipotle sauce and the sauce was good. Overall disappointing and not worth a return visit.

Our first visit to Chickamauga was on a Sunday and we found everything closed except Lots Potros and Domino's. We decided we'd come back another day to check out the Welcome Center and everything else and that's when we hit up Los Potros for lunch, after a morning of visiting the rest of the town and researching the area for possible places to move to. Alex (our waiter) directed us to our table, way in the back and behind the wall... Out of the way of any other customer traffic. It was a nice quiet location, which was actually perfect for us to be able to talk about what we'd discovered about the area. Alex brought up the usual chips and salsa, which were quite tasty, not too salty chips and not too hot salsa... We tried not to eat too many so we wouldn't be stuffed before our meals arriv

Always get tight seated regardless of the amount of people and always get waited on very quickly. The food order is in and shortly behind comes out the food! You guys have got it figured out! Thank you for serving the chickamauga community!

We found this place on an earlier field outing. We enjoy our meal so much, we've added it to our 'variety' of sit & eat restaurants. The drive to is nice, the town is unique small town environment, & the meal makes an evening or lunch adventure successful.
