Lou Malnati's Pizzeria

I love Lou’s and still order frequently but I have had some major consistency issues with this location. The main issues being as follows: First, I no longer consider delivery a valid option. Ordering pizza delivered from here is asking for a $50 disappointment and soggy mess. Your sauce and toppings will also be halfway slid off the pizza and the box will be soaked MOST of the time. Most drivers either turn way too quickly or do not understand how to keep it properly flat because the pizza is ALWAYS perfect when I bring it home myself. Second, I often get pizzas that don’t seem to be cooked properly and have a weird taste that is far from preferable. Probably the best pizza I've ever had! I've had pizza from alot of different places and have lived in the Chicago land area for the first 40 years of my life traveling the country quite a bit but this is IT!!! I got the Deep Dish Chicago Classic (which comes with sausage and buttercrust) but then added the spinach mix (garlic, onion, basil, spinach) and mushrooms and it was so absolutely amazingly delicious 😋

Finally! A place with gluten free Chicago style pizza! Mine was great. Quick and friendly service.

They have great pizza but if they aren't open we can't buy them. This sad little location only does take out, no indoor seating, that is a trip. But that forced us to search for another deep dish pizza, and we found one that opens at 11 am. And boy was it good. Sorry Lou's. Open a full service Lou Malnati's in Belvidere or East Rockford.

I ordered a medium salad on 1/20. It was disgusting. No mushrooms, black olives or cooked egg!! I will never go there again. They used to have a delicious salad. I could have thrown that salad together myself with fresh lettuce, not brown!! Sorry I will not be back.
