Loukoumi Taverna

I had a delicious lunch at Loukoumi Taverna. The Avgolemono and the pork souvlaki platter were excellent. The pork was cooked to perfection. My server Jeannie was attentive and provided excellent service, while checking in on me regularly, as I dined. Looking forward to dining here again.

Delicious! Everything we ordered was cooked and grilled to perfection!! The Jumbo tiger prawns and lamb chops were my favorite. Seafood was so fresh and Ernest took great care of us! If you’re in Astoria definitely hit this place up

A beautiful Greek restaurant with food so incredible, you’ll feel like you’ve been transported straight to Greece. The ambiance is warm and inviting, and the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel genuinely welcomed. I especially want to highlight Jeannie, who made my friend’s birthday dinner unforgettable. From thoughtfully recommending the specials to treating us like family, she truly elevated the entire experience. This place is truly one of a kind, and I hope everyone gets the chance to experience both this restaurant and Jeannie’s exceptional hospitality. :)

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff makes you feel like family from the moment you walk in. A special shoutout to our server, Christa — she was absolutely amazing! Attentive, friendly, and made the entire experience even better. From the perfectly seasoned grilled dishes to the delicious desserts, everything was outstanding. Can’t wait to come back!

I’m so happy I found out about this gem! I had a fantastic time. The food was tasty, fresh and well presented. The staff were friendly and very welcoming. The Cyprus salad was DELICIOUS! It was an explosion of flavors in a salad. The branzino was also excellent. I can tell this will become my new favorite spot for Greek cuisine.
