Lou’s Sushi

I have missed this food so much! So happy to have Lou’s back in midtown. The secret tofu was life-changing as usual. We also enjoyed a series of hand rolls. We got two cocktails, a savory mushroomy dirty martini and a oaxocan old fashioned. Soooo good. Great date night spot, incredible vibes inside, we can’t wait to come back.

Recently got the opportunity to try this new/new to me restaurant with a friend. I had saw so much online chatter about the excitement that Lou’s Sushi was back after being gone for so long and that it was a must have. It’s located where Holy Spirits previously was right next to/connected to Lowbrau. The interior is dark, romantic, moody, and intimate. The inside was nicely decorated especially the car area. There’s limited seating but there are tables and bar seating. We came on a Friday night and our party of two waited about an hour before being seated. Luckily we sat outside after getting a drink next door and passed time talking. The staff were super friendly and helpful in answering questions we had.
