Luby's

I have always loved Luby's since i was a little girl going with my grandparents. I've eaten the dame thing every time i go there. I eat the breaded (fried) fish. Today there was a really nice crowd of happy people eating there & the employees were very polite as well as hospitable. It was a very nice lunch.

We called in our order. As much as they charge for a Ribeye, it was not even half an inch thick and well done. It did have an okay flavor. The baked potato should come with real shredded cheese instead of sauce. The vegetables were good, not overcooked. Service was exceptionally quick and friendly. Sunday buffet might be better. This visit was not worth what we paid, and I was highly dissatisfied.

I love Luby's and get the same thing EVERY time because I can't get over here often enough to branch out. The food is delicious and the staff is so friendly, helpful and kind! (theirs is the ONLY liver and onions I will ever eat!!) Open spacious seating and pleasant ambiance.

The food varies in quality depending on what you pick. I liked their fried chicken and okra, but will not likely ever get potato wedges or tea there again. My eldest loved his tilapia and baked potato. I rated it three stars because the price for the quality seemed a bit high to me, and I'm willing to wait for better food. If you want food that takes a while to cook, without the wait, and a decent variety this is probably the place for you.

Home to both excellent food and friendly customer service, Luby's Cafeteria and Monarch Catering Service offers a wide arrange of buffet inspired food from fresh fish to tender red meets to healthy salads to sweet pies for all to enjoy. A delicious meal for the whole family, I must say that I'm in awe of the superb and elegant interior design and lavish space to enjoy an excellent and peaceful lunch. They also have ample space and closed off rooms for meetings and seminars, an ideal place for all private functions. In fact, I would recommend Luby’s Cafeteria for all business meetings, professional seminars, and birthday parties. The customer service is also spot on with friendly staff willing to make recommendations and offer plentiful refills.
