Overview: A mom and pops kind of restaurant that leaves you stuffed like a bear before hibernation, all for a cheap price. This is now a go-to for breakfast/lunch for us while visiting. Food: - Of all the food locations I've been to in this area, you definitely get the most bang for your buck, and the quality doesn't skimp. - The French toast or pancake breakfast meal offers a pound of bacon, at least 4 eggs worth of eggs, and toast or pancakes, you most likely won't finish and if you do, good job. - Chicken wrap slapped, and was absolutely stuffed. - The 1/3lb Turkey Burger was no joke either, with a whole grain bun and super lean protein you'll get full quick, also was delicious. - The supreme breakfast burrito was... Supreme to say the least. This thing is massive, easily 2 meals for m
This is an iconic Pasadena location that’s been around longer than I’ve been alive. While the fries are good and the burger is solid, there is nothing special here to set it apart from other local spots. The staff is standard and the vibe is your typical retro stand. $20 for a burger, fries, and a drink. The value doesn't justify the hype. It isn’t a bad meal, but it certainly didn't earn my praise.
Huge burrito, quick service. Came here after the rose bowl and it wasn’t too busy. Usually there burritos are 12$ I believe but this one was 14, but well worth it for the size and taste
Solid burger and a really decent price point. I love that they offer small chili cheese fries. Instead of the one size fits all that most places do. I got the bacon cheeseburger and it was massive. A little too massive where the flavor of the burger got lost in the lettuce and pile of bacon. Chili cheese fries were perfect and definitely saved the meal.
The portions are HUGE! I got the pancake combo... The 2 pancakes are the definition of cake! They're so good. It came with eggs and bacon in a very large clam shell container. You could honestly feed the family on the one combo! The pastrami sandwich my husband got was good size too. The staff are always so patient and friendly! The parking lot can fill up fast, but the food pumps out quickly! Give it a try amd leave stuffed!
