Luigi's - Augusta, GA

I tried this restaurant because I just love Italian and a friend said this was where everyone wanted to go when they were in town for the Masters. We tried a couple of dishes, which were good, but they needed something a little extra special to meet the expectations that were set. Overall, a good experience but it could have been spectacular with some tweaks.

Our server was Phillip who was excellent. The atmosphere was warm and cozy which is so much better than the chain restaurants. We got there about 5:30pm and got a seat right away. We dined on the chicken Alfredo and veal parma both were delicious. We will definitely be returning

I have been going here since i can remember. I have only ordered the spanakopita and pizza - and that is enough for me. 10/10. I love this place, the people, the atmosphere and its memories it holds!

Forgotten gem: I hadn't eaten here in years. My husband and I took my mother during her recent visit, as she and my dad use to go here for date nights. I remembered the Italian dishes but forgot about the Greek dishes. Everything was delicious! I can't wait to go back and try more Greek cuisine next time, though the spanikopita and the Greek salad were amazing! We arrived just before 5pm and we're seated without a wait. By the time we left, the place was hopping! A truly nostalgic evening for my mom and me!

Delicious food, good portion size to cost ratio. Greek salad was fresh, all entrees were hot and appetizing. Dessert was big enough to share (not that we did) and not too sweet for the tiramisu which I loved. Baklava cheesecake is a MUST. Add the meatballs to whatever you get.
