Lupo Marino

Second visit to Lupo Marino, and it did not disappoint again. Promptly seated for a 6:00 PM reservation despite the restaurant being fully packed, cheerfully and energetically alive, in the best way. The service matched the vibe: warm, attentive, and efficient. Our server was pleasant, and the food arrived quickly, hot, and fresh. The focaccia was light, airy, and golden-brown. I took a moment to admire my pasta (yes, I played with it a little before diving in), and it was worth the anticipation. The Cacio e Pepe with shrimp was rich and comforting: creamy, thick noodles, peppery bite, succulent, fresh, delicate shrimp. Another memorable evening at The Wharf, another reminder to savor the moments that stay with us.

Enjoyed my experience here and glad for the fact that I don't have a budget when dining out. Prices were a bit higher compared to other Italian restaurants with similar offerings. You come here because it's on the Waterfront and it's a warm and inviting spot. Service overall was good. Server was friendly, food came out quick. Onto their menu offerings: lots of pizza options and what came out of the oven all looked really good even though none landed at my table. I opted for the seafood chiatarra...wow...loved the fresh, thick spaghetti! seafood was very fresh, juicy, and the sauce was flavorful yet light. It paired well with the Sauvignon Blanc. Upon arrival we found our sister so it was pretty much walk in and sit down but I didn’t see anyone there to greet. The ambience of the restaurant is nice. It’s different. Market meets restaurant. The menu has plenty of traditional Italian dishes like bolognese, arancini, chicken parm, ravioli. Etc. We ordered a bottled of Italian Sauvignon blanc. I appreciate the waiter giving me a taste before pouring me a glass. It was crisp, dry with subtle hints of lemon. $70 a bottle, which normally goes for abt $20-$24 at the store or wholesale price, so it is definitely a little overpriced. For apps, we got the arancini and fritto misto. Both delicious. Dinner, we got the Lobster ravioli & the Spaghetti Alla Rosa. The ravioli was delicious. Wonderful restaurant on the Wharf. Delicious pizza - ordered the Diavola and Polpette and both were excellent. Pizza crust was thin and tender with a crisp bottom and sturdy undercarriage. Staff was friendly and prompt. Fast turn around from order to table. Wide variety of custom cocktails. Definitely recommend!

Excellent food and service. Our waiter provided excellent service! Although the space is quite small and the tables are very close together, it's still worth it. A big plus: it was open on the evening of December 25th when we couldn't find a good place to eat! We'll be back!
