Absolutely incredible Chinese food from start to finish. Dinner was outstanding, but the hot and sour soup deserves special mention, it may honestly be the best I’ve ever had, perfectly balanced, rich, and comforting. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care. What made the experience even better was the service. Alexia was attentive, warm, and genuinely thoughtful without ever being intrusive. You could feel the pride in both the food and the hospitality. Highly recommended. This is the kind of place you remember and look forward to coming back to.
Went here for lunch after church with two other couples. Wheelchair accessible, although if it was crowded it would be a bit tight. Food was delicious. I’m half Chinese and grew up in San Francisco Chinatown, so I know good Chinese food. It’s hard to find a good Chinese restaurant, but this one is up to par. My husband is now worried that I’ll make him take me here every Sunday after church (LOL). Service was great. We ordered and food was hit and fresh and brought out quick. We ordered family style so we could all share the dishes. I was hungry and forgot to take pictures in the restaurant, but here are some pics of the leftovers we had for dinner. We had chicken egg rolls, chicken dumplings and chicken lettuce wraps for appetizers.
The restaurant is located in a very small strip mall next to a bubble tea place. I was surprised how good this restaurant is. The food app very delicious not too sweet not too salty.
The cashier was nice but the food was downright terrible and extremely expensive, especially for the poor quality. The so-called Mapo Tofu neither looked nor tasted anything like Mapo Tofu. The tofu wasn’t even cooked and they threw in frozen peas and carrots with some sort of BBQ sauce. Really gross. Not authentic and not spicy as it’s supposed to be. The Lo Mein had a weird flavor that wasn’t good and was loaded with onions of every type which no one wants. The green beans were not good either and like the lo mein, it was loaded with onions, and they were lazy and added jarred diced garlic. Gross. The General Tso’s chicken was not spicy and was lackluster. It seems they just can’t cook at all. And it was over $50. What a waste. Won’t be returning nor would I recommend.
I had wonderful soup take out previously: then out of nowhere I got burnt egg rolls and zero beef in the hot and sour soup. Like how does that happen?! So disappointing. EDIT: I gave the chance to make it right. They charged me for beef and instead of traditional shiitake mushrooms, I got these (see photo) - I’ve no idea why. Strange way to make things “right” - you decide.
