M & M Taco Corner

M&m is great. Been coming here for a long time. I read through some of these reviews. A lot of the 1 stars usually started with “we just moved here”. Well, welcome to San Marcos. We may not do fancy like you may have done where you came from. M&M is a home style breakfast taco. Plain and simple. While interior style taquerias and street taco stands certainly have a place, M&M does too. M&M is what your grandmother would make each morning. It nurses hung over college kids and is a quick and easy breakfast for us townies on the way to work. It’s just that, that’s what you’re getting here and it’s comfortable, it taste like a loved one’s kitchen at home. We love M&M, I probably go too much but that’s fine and I’ll keep going. Who is keeping this place in business? I ordered the bean and potato taco — their Wednesday special — and the potatoes were mashed potatoes! There was absolutely no salt or seasoning. I also tried the potato and egg taco, and it was completely flavorless. Not even the tortillas tasted good. Probably the worst breakfast tacos I’ve ever had. Eat at your own risk.

Food is great, out of ALL of the places with "tacos" these are the better ones, and are priced just right. Other places charge between $0.50-$1.00 more, and the ingredients and amount of food in them are not remotely close to the taco corner, so yeah.. well priced with good amount in them. Everything is really, really good.

We just moved here and I was excited to see a taqueria, but it was really bad. I was shocked. The lady taking the order came across very unfriendly, but 🤷‍♀️. But the tacos were completely tasteless, dry (potato egg and cheese) and not even hot enough to melt the cold cheese tossed on top of the breakfast tacos. And the salsa was TERRIBLE. Like so so bad I don’t even know how they did it. I was like water with a maybe a bit of juice from a cut tomato thrown at it. Not to mention I LOVE good chili and smother my tacos in it so I asked for a second for my second taco which was an additional .81cents … for the tiny container. This also would be not a big deal if the salsa was good, but it was so bad. I was disappointed. I ate a bit of the refried beans i got to kill the hunger pains and then

They have some really good flavor of tacos. My only qualm is that the tortillas are a bit chewy/tough sometimes.
