Mad Chef Kitchen & Bar

This is our go to spot in the area and it never disappoints. On our last visit, we had the braised short ribs and the cranberry white chocolate bread pudding and everything was absolutely delicious. The short ribs was incredibly tender and tasted fresh. The bread pudding was rich, and honestly more than generous in portion, not a bad problem to have. We sat at the bar and the service and ambiance were easily a 10 out of 10.

The crab and artichoke dip was good. It could use more crab. A lot of cheese. The pretzels were ok but the nachos were fresh. I preferred the nachos better. Old bay fries were good. Ask for a side of vinegar. Thank me later.

This was my first time here on a Monday. They have all day happy hour on Monday. The happy hour menu does not miss. The tuna taquitos were amazing. So flavorful and they have a gluten free option. We had the deviled eggs, cheesesteak tacos, and crab and artichoke dip. Not a single one was “okay”. Great service and not a long wait at all. If you’re in the area give it a try.

I went back to Turf Valley and tried Mad Chef. It seem like they were understaffed and it took a while to service even though we were sitting at the bar. O tried the pineapple crush for my drink, delived eggs with shrimp and they were good. They were about $13.00 and came as a set of four. I also had the wedge salad, which was very good, and I had the blackened chicken with pasta for my entree. I highly recommend getting the cranberry white chocolate bread pudding for dessert. Overall, I had a good experience, and the atmosphere was pleasant.

It was a winter evening on a weekday when we went with family and friends. The ambiance was great. Due to the lack of available parking, we had to walk a bit in the cold, windy night. We sampled a variety of appetizers and entrees, all of which were delicious. The vegetarians in our group had some difficulty finding options, but the waiter was very helpful, guiding them with his expertise. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.
