Madison County Library

Beautiful Library with wonderful resources! Everything you need. But EVERY TIME I come to the library, not just once or twice, it is awful how loud it is there. I don't know about y'all but I come to the library to relax and read. Or to study and write. Not in this library, the librarian (she is the loudest) talks and laughs to the top of her lungs. She lets everyone fellowship and cut up. This is Madison Co library, not the social hall. Again the resources and books are TOP NOTCH! Now if you could get a staff to Enforce that libraries are Quiet, Thinking, Relaxing,Study Spaces. I would hate to still be in college writing a paper in this loud mess. No manners or regard for peoples quiet space at all

Friendly staff. Clean library. Very beautiful and quiet inside. The only downfall was that the bathrooms weren’t clean.

Been a Madison County resident for 4 years now and yesterday was the first time in. My daughter loves to read. At 43 years old back in the 80s and 90s I lived next to Univ of Pittsburgh and frequented their library and I will be honest. I thought libraries were a thing of the past. When we walked in although it was 20 times smaller than the one I used to visit, it brought back so many memories. Her face said it all. I was surprised I will have to admit. Very good experience! Thank you!

It is a great resource for the community. Lots of programs for all ages. Interesting speakers from time to time. Clean and well organized. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The MC Friends of the Library members provide wonderful support to help with the needs of the Library. Already a great stop on any given day.

This library, which is located right outside of Danielsville, GA, is basically paradise for people who love to read because the library has a variety of different areas such as a magazine area, an audio visual area, a homework center for children, a children's area, a browsing area (where people can browse the most recent titles), a seasonal area, a fiction area, a nonfiction area, a graphic novel and manga area, an audiobook area, a Spanish book area (consisting of books written in Spanish), a sitting area, a computer center, a board game area, an event area, the Teen Corner, the Library Shop, the information desk / check-out desk / return desk, and a self check-out area.
