I ordered two mixed over rice platters and simply asked for one empty box. I was willing to pay $1–$2 for the box. Then the staff member said the empty box would cost $13 and clearly did not want to provide it at all. This interaction felt very rude and unprofessional. It wasn’t about the cost—it was the attitude and the way the situation was handled. Experiences like indicate such create a negative impression and reflect poorly on customer service in New York City overall. Back in 2008, I stumbled upon this street cart, and to my delight, nothing about its taste or quality has changed since then. It still tastes as delicious as it did almost 18 years ago. with tax it cost 13.48. good amount of chicken but i don’t like their rice quality and quantity. i would prefer halal munchies and other cart instead of this one..sorry.
