Mahylon's

First time visiting and I am pleased. I will definitely be returning. The food is great, and the service was top-notch. And for those of you gluten-free, there is plenty you will be able to eat. The cost is around 20 a person, which is reasonable as the food portions are big. It you haven't been there, give them a try, you will be glad you did.

I wanna start this off by saying how wonderful the owner was to stop and chat with us and ask where we’re from. A coworker and I were here for the week for work. We came in a few nights ago and decided to come again because the food really is THAT GOOD! The barbecue sauces mild and spicy have such a rich smooth flavor to each, the spicy not being overbearing in heat, and having real flavor behind the heat was awesome. The brisket was SMOKED and you could taste it, it was incredible! Tonight we got fried mushrooms and they were perfectly fried, not overly greasy and absolutely bomb. I have had probably the best baked potato I’ve had in years at this place as well. It was also cooked to perfection and the fixings really made it. Topped off dessert with a blackberry cobbler. Lunch was excellent. Greeted immediately and grabbed a table. The place was BUSY but our server came right over and brought out the freshest iced tea I’ve had in quite some time. We both ordered steaks that come with fresh salad, baked potato and Oklahoma toast. Be forewarned, no prices are listed for the steaks, as they appear to be market. As the old saying goes, if you have to ask….Everything was excellent as advertised!

Took a suggestion from a coworker who used to live in Muskogee and he said he would come here when he was younger. This place did not disappoint! The waitresses were spot on and friendly. We were quickly seated and ordered our drinks. They were not much selections with regards to appetizers so I ordered fries & onion rings. The onion rings were great however, at $7.59 I'm not exactly sure of the price, but they were exactly what I wanted in an onion ring. I chose the Two Meat Combo, Turkey & Chopped Brisket w/Potato Salad & Cole Slaw. Both meats were delicious and the Cole Slaw was a true hit! The Potato Salad was also good. AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE. Owner stopped by our table multiple times to check on us. Great atmosphere. Beautiful wood restaurant. Food was really good. The sides were super flavorful. Their super spicy BBQ sauce called "The Maniac" was my absolute favorite! Worth the try if you like spicy foods. Carolina Reaper 🌶 peppers.
