Maiko Sushi Lounge

Had to take a brake from the Austin taco scene so I decided to get some Sushi! I got the Nigiri combo special. 7 assorted Nigiri, a roll chosen from a list (I got the Eel avocado & cucumber) and salad. The salad was fresh with a nice dressing. The Nigiri was very good and fresh as well (star of the show) and the Eel roll was great with that delicious eel sauce on top. Overall a great experience and light lunch. Our server Samantha was great. They even had the Grinch playing on the tv for the holidays. Nice atmosphere as well. The sushi bar was very nice. Would definitely come back next time I’m in Austin.

We stopped in on our anniversary and sat at the bar. We saw they had a later evening happy hour menu so decided to check it out. Oscar was PHENOMENAL!! Very attentive & gave great recommendations. Even told us we should dip one of our rolls in the sauce from the spicy edamame and we were glad he did!!!

Second visit and I have had a great experience both times. Fast service and food was excellent. The tempera veggies were so delicious snd I think I got some kind of fancier spicy tuna roll. Sorry, I forgot what it was called but delicious.

Service was great from the moment I walked in. I sat at the bar, but the have table service also. I got two of their specialty rolls which were good and the seaweed salad which was really good! Great place overall.

The service was great and the food was delicious! We were a large party and had no problem getting a table without a reservation for lunch
