Main Street Daily Grind CAFÉ

FrontRoyal, VA. A lovely little mountain town located near the northern tip of Skyline Drive. It boasts a cute main street, shops, and friendly people. Main Street Daily Grind Cafe is one of a handful of coffee shops nestled into the historic district. The shop is well laid out with plenty of seats and elbow room. The coffee was good. Quickly served up by friendly staff. They had pastry items on display that looked delicious, but we didn't try any. The breakfast sandwich was excellent—served hot, juicy, and well-balanced, with the ham and tomato pairing beautifully. The tortilla wrap was crispy and satisfying. The cappuccino was solid and warming, exactly what you’d hope for in a classic café setting. The tomato soup was a little underwhelming—slightly bitter and lacking the freshness you’d expect. We also had a scoop of Moose Tracks ice cream: a tart-sweet flavor that’s pleasant but a bit too icy in texture. The space itself is spacious but quite dim, which makes it feel a little dated or heavy, though some might find it cozy.

We had the chicken salad sandwich and the grilled chicken sandwich, both were hearty and delicious! Would definitely come back.

Nice small town coffee shop. Spacious, clean, friendly staff. The food options were not spectacular, but the food isn't why you come here. If you want to get quiet work done at a coffee shop, this is the place for you. Parking on the street was easy. The place was just down the road from main square of the town. Had a nice kids room at the back with a rack of kids books and some small toys.

A great little spot. We were traveling home from Shenandoah and love Front Royal. A cute little town. We needed some coffee and did not want a chain store. Found you all just driving by! Delicious latte! A lot of flavors to choice from. Also added a Blueberry hand pie. Get one, warm it up! Yum!!!
