Main Street Diner And Pizzeria

I was visiting Clifton. I am not from the area. I happened to see this small pizza place it was 7pm they close at 8pm as i was driving by. I walked in I was greeted by the cashier at the door. They dont have to-go menus but I decided to dine-in solo. Colleen was my server she was very nice and make me feel welcomed, even they were closing in less than hour. I was only one eating in, I ordered a 12 inch pizza with Cheese, Sausage & Peperoni. Wow! It came out piping hot and looked very good!! I enjoyed it so much. They have a Ice Cream Parlor inside as well, as there was a few people having Ice Cream on this cold Friday night! I will be back if I am in the area. I love stopping at small Midwestern town diners, people are so nice!! And you feel at home. This place was cozy

We make the 30 minute drive here at least once a week. Have taken several friends and family here from Chicago on different occasions to try the pizza. They are all shocked how great the pizza is and how it’s as good, if not better, than Chicago’s top pizza joints. Fresh ingredients and perfectly cooked every time. Crust is amazing. You wouldn’t expect a diner to have such great pizza, but they do. They serve more than pizza, but we go for the pizza. Oh and if the pizza isn’t enough to fill you up, the ice cream is really good. Great service too. All around a great hidden gem to dine at.

Found this hidden gem off I57 in the town of Clifton while on the way home from a bowling tournament. Their thin crust pizza rivals ANY neighborhood joint in Chicago, no exaggeration!! Crispy, cheesy, with a delectable sauce and perfect seasonings... I am hooked! May have to drive the 1.5 hours for a pie every other weekend!

The diner is amazing always. The staff is always friendly and more like family. The small towns all need a diner like this 💕 our baby has been raised here and they know her by name as well!
